I was born in Shanghai China. I graduated from college with a degree in fine art and taught art at college level for several years. In my early years in New York, I studied Photography in School of Visual Arts and NYU Tisch School of the Arts.

In 1998, I started my own commercial photography studio in New York City. However, travel, landscape and fine art photography really inspire my passion and creativity. In recent years, I traveled to China, Japan, India, Myanmar, Laos, Nepal, Bhutan, Malaysia, Ethiopia, Cuba, Peru and Antarctica. I’ve spent most of my time on fine art photography. I’ve exhibited my works widely across the US in various galleries and top national shows.

I specialize in capturing the culture and beauty of the world through a unique perspective that infuses humanity into landscape, and the spirit of Zen into the simplicity of composition.
